Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Titus 2:11; Rom 3:28; Gal 2:16; 2Cor 5:17; Eph 2:8-10)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Rom 8:31-32; 1John 4:9-10; Titus 3:5-7)
