Today's Thought:
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1John 4:9; John 1:10-11; Isa 53:3-4; 1John 4:10)
