I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places. (Eph 4:1; Gal 5:16-17; Eph 5:8, 1:18-20)
