Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. I have not learned wisdom, nor have I knowledge of the Holy One. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach...the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things, But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
