For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
