And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (John 1:14, 16; Col 2:9-10; 2Cor 3:5; 1Pet 5:6-7)
