Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. (Psa 46:1-3; Rom 8:31-33; 2Tim 1:12b)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age. If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called. (Titus 2:11-12; Col 3:1-2; Rom 8:29; 1Pet 2:21; Eph 4:1)
