But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!
