 Today's Thought:

Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. (Psa 119:33; Rom 7:22-25; 1Pet 2:11; Gal 5:16-17)
