Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God, strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Jude 1:21; 1John 2:6; Eph 4:1; Heb 12:2; Col 1:11-14)
