But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (Acts 1:8; Psa 51:15, 63:3, 145:3; James 1:18; Heb 13:15)
