For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (1Cor 15:3-4; 1Pet 2:24; 2Cor 5:21; Php 1:11; Acts 4:12)
