And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (Rom 12:2; 2Cor 6:14; Rom 13:12; James 1:21-22; Eph 5:8)
