There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
