 Today's Thought:

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
