And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: (John 1:14, 16; Col 2:9-10; 2Cor 9:8; 2Cor 3:5; 1Pet 4:10)
