Today's Thought:
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. (1Tim 2:1-3; Rom 12;18; Eph 4:3; James 3:16-18)
