Today's Thought:
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. (Pro 18:10; John 10:11; 1Pet 2:24; Heb 7:25; Eph 6:16; 1Pet 5:8-9)
