Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty? He has made everything beautiful in its time.
