Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; And he said unto me, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (Psa 42:5, 145:14; Isa 40:29-31; Col 1;11; 2Cor 12:9-10)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (Nah 1:7; Psa 145:8-9, 100:4-5; Eph 2:4-5; James 1:18; 1Pet 1:23)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Submit yourselves therefore to God. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. (Psa 51:17; James 4:6-7a, 10; Mark 10:45; 2Cor 8:9; Php 2:3-4; Rom 12:3)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (Psa 139:23-24, 51:10; James 1:19-21; 2Tim 3:16-17)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. See, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! (Gen 1:26-27; Ecc 7:29; Rom 5:20-21; Eph 2:8-10; Psa 139:14, 17)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. For a man's ways are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his paths. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil...for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. (Psa 13 9:1-3; Heb 4:12-13; Pro 5:21; 2Cor 5:10; Rom 14:11-12)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing to his name, for it is pleasant! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Whatever the LORD pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption...For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit...for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. (Psa 135:3, 107:1, 135:5; 1Cor 1:30; Rom 8:29; 2Cor 2:13; 1John 3:2)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. (Psa 133:1; 1Cor 1:10; Eph 4:3-4; Php 2:3-4; 1Pet 3:8; 1Thes 5:11)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Psa 130:5; 1Cor 1:9; 2Cor 1:20; 2Pet 1:3-4; Heb 10:23)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Psa 130:3-4; John 3:16-17; Isa 53:5-6; 2Cor 5:21; John 3:18)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Psa 116:5; 1Tim 1:14; Titus 3:3-7; Heb 4:16)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD. (Psa 145:21, 51:15; Heb 13:15; Col 1:12-14; 1Pet 2:9; Psa 115:18)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time...even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. (Psa 115:1; 1Pet 1:3-5; Eph 1:4-6; John 1:16)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. (Psa 29:10; Dan 2:21-22; Psa 100:3; 2Cor 4:6; 1Cor 1:30; Php 2:13; Rom 6:13)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light... (Psa 113:1-3; Col 3:15-16; Eph 5:20; Heb 13:15; Col 1:12)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Psa 111:2-4; James 1:18; Rom 8:29-31; Jude 1:24-25)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness... Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The LORD has prepared His throne in Heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. For the LORD Most High is awesome, a great King over all the earth. Every thing which the LORD was pleased to do, He did, in the heavens and in the earth, and in the seas and all deep places. This is the purpose that is purposed on all the earth; and this the hand that is stretched out on all the nations. For the LORD of Hosts has purposed. And who shall reverse it? And His hand is stretched out. Who shall turn it back? Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies with Christ, even as He elected us in Him before the foundation of the world, for us to be holy and without blemish before Him in love, predestinating us to adoption through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure. (Psa 103:19, 47:2, 135:6; Isa 14:26-27; Eph 1:3-5; Php 2:13)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

As for man, his days are as grass; as the flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is not; and its place never knows it again. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting, even to everlasting, on those who fear Him; yea, His righteousness is to the sons of sons; But now a righteousness of God has been revealed apart from Law, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference, for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, as a demonstration of His righteousness through the passing over of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, for a demonstration of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus. There is therefore now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to flesh, but according to Spirit. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death. (Psa 103:15-17; Rom 3:21-26, 8:1-2)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As the pity of a father over his sons, so the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows how we are made, remembering that we are dust. But He being merciful, atoned for iniquity and did not destroy; and He added to turn away His anger, and did not stir up all his wrath. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death. For the Law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh...My little children, I write these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world. (Psa 103:12-14, 78:38; Rom 8:2-3; 1John 2:1-2)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption...Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (Psa 91:1-2; 1John 4:13-15; Rom 8:15-17; Col 3:1-2)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Psa 97:1-2, 96:9-11; Heb 2:9-10; Php 2:9-11)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Psa 8:1, 84:4-4; Eph 6:10; Isa 40:29-31; Php 4:13)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. (Psa 96:2-3; 2Cor 8:9; Heb 5:8-9; Php 2:9-11; Psa 96:6)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Psa 91:1-2; Pro 18:10; Php 4:6-7; Heb 4:16; Rom 8:15)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began...But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light... Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Psa 95:1-2; Eph 5:18-20; 1Pet 2:9; Eph 1:6, 3:20-21)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Why art thou cast down, my soul, and art disquieted in me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, for the health of his countenance. Who shall bring an accusation against God's elect? It is God who justifies: who is he that condemns? It is Christ who has died, but rather has been also raised up; who is also at the right hand of God; who also intercedes for us. Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. And hereby we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall persuade our hearts before him--that if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things. (Psa 42:5; Rom 8:33-34, 5:1-2; 1John 3:19-20)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who has been made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption; Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any should have a complaint against any; even as the Christ has forgiven you, so also do ye. And to all these add love, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of Christ preside in your hearts, to which also ye have been called in one body, and be thankful. But the God of peace, who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, in the power of the blood of the eternal covenant, perfect you in every good work to the doing of his will, doing in you what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for the ages of ages. Amen. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye should abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (1Cor 1:30; Col 3:12-15; Heb 13:20-21; Rom 15:13)
