 Today's Thought:

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Submit yourselves therefore to God. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
