Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

HE IS RISEN!

Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification. (Mat 28:1-6; 1John 2:2; Rom 4:24b-25)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will. (Psa 139:14-18; Rom 8:28-30; Eph 1:3-5)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Your name, O LORD, endures forever, your renown, O LORD, throughout all ages. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. Php 2:5  Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. There was also an inscription over him, “This is the King of the Jews.” Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! (Psa 8:1, 135:13; John 1:14; Php 2:6-8; Luke 23:38; Php 2:9-11; Psa 8:9)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to itthe righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. (Psa 130:3-5; Rom 3:20-26)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life...who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. (Psa 121:7; 1Pet:1:5; Rom 8:33-35; 2Pet:1:3-4; 2Thes 2:16-17)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you... fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’” Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. Let your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. (Isa 41:13, 10; Eph 6:10-13; Isa 40:28; Psa 119:173)

Today's Thought

Today's Thought:

My lips will pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes. Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the LORD: look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.” Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. (Psa 119:171; Jer 23:29; Isa 51:1; Rom 10:17; 1Cor 1:18-21, 30; John 3:18)

Today's Thought

Today's Thought:

Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (Jer 23:23-24; Pro 5:21; Psa 139:1-6; Heb 4:12-13)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Psa 119:165; Isa 32:17; 2Cor 5:21; Rom 5:19; Eph 1:6-7, 2:8-10)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Psa 119:160; Pro 30:5; 1Pet 1:13; 2Tim 3:16-17; Rom 15:4; Heb 4:12)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law is true. Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD. How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (Psa 119:142, 36:5-7; Rom 3:21-26; 2Cor 5:21)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. There are those who rebel against the light, who are not acquainted with its ways, and do not stay in its paths. (Psa 119:135; John 1:14, 4-5; 2Cor 4:6; Heb 1:3; John 3:18-19; Job 24:13)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me. For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. (Psa 119:33; Rom 7:22-25; 1Pet 2:11; Gal 5:16-17)

Today's Thought

Today's Thought:

The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (Psa 119:130; Pro 6:23; John 1:14; 2Pet 1;19; Eph 5:8; Col 1:13-14; 2Cor 4:6)

Today's Thought

Today's Thought:

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O LORD, and teach me your rules. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground! (1Pet 2:9; Rom 15:5-6; Col 1:13-14; Heb 13:15; Psa 119:108, 143:10)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it”. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that he made to us—eternal life. (Mat 24:35; Psa 119:89; Pro 30:5; Isa 55:10-11; Rom 10:17; James 1:18; 1John 2:24-25)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

May my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame! My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the4: right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. (Psa 119:80; Pro 20-23; 2Tim 3:16-17; Pro 4:26-27; 2Pet 1:19)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for your statutes continually! And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Psa 119:117; Exo 33:14; John 10:27-29; Jude 1:24-25)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope! “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.’” What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (Psa 119:116; Isa 41:10, 13; Rom 8:31; Php 4:6-7; Rom 15:13)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts. Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep your word. I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. (Psa 119:101-103; 1Pet 3:10-11; Titus 2:11-14)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant. Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change...even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you, so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (Psa 119:76-77; Lam 3:21-23; Heb 10:23; James 1:17; 1Cor 1:6-9)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them. Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. (Gen 1:26-27; Psa 139:14, 111:2-3; Eph 1:3-6)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word. You are good and do good; teach me your statutes. Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves; therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty. My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (Psa 119:66-67; Job 5:17; Pro 3:11-12; Psa 119:9; 2Tim 3:16-17)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts. Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Psa 119:63; Pro 13:20; 2Cor 6:14-16; 1Cor 15:33; Col 3:16; Heb10:24-25)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies; I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Again Jesus spoke.., saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain! Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Psa 119:35-37; 1John 2:15-17; Col 3:1-3)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. (2Pet 1:19-21; 2Cor 4:6; 1John 3:1-2; Psa 119:18)

Today's Thought

Today's Thought:

In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts. Jesus said.., “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit...for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. (Psa 119:14-16; Jer 15:16; John 14:6, 21; 2Cor 3:18; Php 2:13; Rom 9:16)

Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock...do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Isa 26:3-4; Php 4:6-7; Col 3:2, 15; Rom 15:13; Eph 3:20-21)
