Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
