Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
