Today's Thought

Today's Thought:

Better is a handful of quietness than two hands full of toil and a striving after wind. First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior... It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. (Ecc 4:6; 1Tim 2:1-3; Lam 3:26; Gal 6:9-10; James 5:7-8)
