The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
