The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God...“I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” (Psa 12:6; Pro 30:5; 1Pet 1:22-23; John 17:14-17)
