 Today's Thought:

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. (2Tim 3:1-4; Psa 53:2-3, 103:8-10; 1John 4:9, 2:2)
