Today's Thought:
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. (1John 4:9; John 1:14, 3:16-17; 1Tim 3:16; Heb 7:25)
