The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Psa 19:7-9; Rom 15:4; 1John 5:9; Col 3:16-17)
