Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. (Isa 12:5; Psa 40:2-3; Eph 2:4-6, 1:6; Psa 96:2)
