So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life. Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Psa 90:12; Pro 3:13-14; Pro 6:23; 2Cor 13:5-6; Col 3:16-17)
