Today's Thought

 Today's Thought:

If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (John 15:18-19, 16:33; 2Tim 3:12; 1Pet 1:6-9)
