And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, (John 1:14, 16; Rom 5:1-2; Eph 2:8-10; Col 2:9-10; Php 1:27a)
