Then I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling in which you were called, with all humility and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love, giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for a share of the inheritance of the saints in light, who delivered us out of the authority of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins; looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of God...mind the things above, not the things on the earth. For our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ... (Eph 4:1-2; Col 1:12-14; Heb 12:2; Col 3:2; Php 3:20)
