 Today's Thought:

Faithful is the word, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the first...but God commends his love to us, in that, we being still sinners, Christ has died for us. Much rather therefore, having been now justified in the power of his blood, we shall be saved by him from wrath. For if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much rather, having been reconciled, we shall be saved in the power of his life. For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared, teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things, awaiting the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works. For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them. (1Tim 1:15; Rom 5:8-10; Titus 2:11-14; Eph 2:10)
